The Sikh Community Care Project has come a long way since 1997. We are now offering various activities and the advice centre is continuously growing. More and more people and dropping in everyday and are using our facilities and for general social gathering.
We are constantly thinking of ways of expanding our services. We are soon to introduce a 24 hour advice line. This line will be open to the general public who are going through a tough time. With our qualified counselors, this will prove a successful project.
Another ongoing project, which has recently been talked about, was to open a small public library consisting of books about the Sikh and Punjabi history, culture and language. This is to be a public library, and will be an excellent resource centre for students for all ages and adults who wish to learn about the religion and language.
SCCP is a registered charity, we would appreciate any support and donations that will benefit the project. If you would like to make a cash donation, please send a cheque made payable to 'Sikh Community Care Project' and send it to the following address: Sikh Community Care Project 100 Francis Road Leyton London E10 6PP
